The
550Access Ad that you clicked on to reach this page was
not part of the original content of the website on which
the ad was displayed. The ad was delivered to you via the
AdSwap feature included in our Toolbar (or Deskbar) installed
on your computer. AdSwap facilitates delivery of one ad
of a 550Access advertiser on every webpage that you visit.
You have complete control
and responsibility for the use of this feature. This feature
can be easily enabled or disabled by you depending upon
your preference.
Why is AdSwap included
in our software?
The
purpose of this feature is to support our software development
efforts. Our Toolbar, Deskbar and other software are offered
at no charge to users. These software integrate most useful
utilities (such as Popup blocking, Automated logins, etc.)
which enhance the online experience of our users.
By incorporating AdSwap in
our software we are able to support our software development
through advertising revenues.
Your Privacy
We do
not collect or transmit any personal information of our
users via any of our
software.
How to disable AdSwap
To
disable AdSwap go
to the Options menu of your Toolbar (or Deskbar) and click
on "Precision Search Settings." In the Precision
Search Settings window, deselect the Enable Ad Swap
option within "Search Results Content" section
on top. To reactivate this feature you can again select
the option by clicking on the checkbox.
What is the difference
between Toolbar and Deskbar?
The
Toolbar is incorporated with your browser while the Deskbar
rests on your desktop. So in case your browser is not open,
you can still use the Deskbar to search the internet without
having to launch the browser.
You can run Start Menu commands
by typing in the Deskbar, for example type run calc and
hit ENTER to instantly open the Calculator.
You can also instantly open
other System Utilities such as Control Panel, Windows Explorer,
etc. or remove all junk from your system directly from the
Options menu of Deskbar.
