Error 676: The line is busy

There are many possible causes for busy signals. If too many people are trying to use an access number at the same time, you may encounter a "slow" busy signal. This type of busy signal is the same one you will encounter if you try to call someone on the phone and the line is busy. If the busy signal is faster than this, it indicates a problem with your connection to the access number.

Please try using an alternate access number, if one is available in your area. If you have alternate access to the Internet you can search for local access numbers in your area by clicking here.

Please check with your telephone company to confirm that under your calling plan the chosen access numbers will not result in additional charges. You are solely responsible for all telephone charges related to accessing our services and 550access will not reimburse you for any such charges, including long distance or toll charges.
