Step1: Check for local access numbers

First you need to make sure that there is a local access number in your area to connect to our service. You will be asked to enter the area code and first three digits of your telephone number. Click on the "Check Access" button to continue.

  Step2: Enter your account information

Referral: You will be asked to enter the Referral information i.e. if you came to know about our service through an existing customer of 550 Access, you can enter the person's name here and we will give him/ her one month of free internet access.

Username/ Password: To create your account, you will need to enter a unique username and password, both need to have at least 5 characters. If the username you choose is already in use by another 550 Access customer, you will be prompted to select a different username before you can go to the next step.

Hint Question/ Answer: In case you ever forget your password, you will be able to retrieve it by answering your hint question.

Click "Next" after entering your account information.

  Step3: Select your plans

You can select from annual, monthly, or half-yearly subscriptions.

You can build your own complete internet access service by choosing the options you would like to add to your dial up account i.e. E-mail, Web space, Additional dial up hours, and Premier Support.

If you select Premier Support, your trouble tickets and chats would be attended on priority by our support staff.

Select the services you would like to subscribe to and click "Next".

  Step4: Make your Payment

Fill in your credit card information to make your payment. Make sure to read the "Agreement" before proceeding further. Once you have read the agreement and filled in your credit card information, click on Submit.

  Step5: Download Software

You will get a confirmation window once your payment is approved and you can now download our dialer and high speed software (if applicable for your plan) to get started.

 
Now that you are setup with 550access.com, you can go ahead and forget about those high-priced ISP's. Simply cancel with them using these contact methods:

* If you choose to write or fax them, then write a letter saying that you would like to cancel your Internet account, and you no longer need to use their service. Don't forget to include your Account Number, Username, Password, Billing Address, Phone number, Last four digits of your credit card and other information that will help them serve you faster. Please sign the letter, and then mail it.
