Before you proceed with
the setup, make sure you have the original version
of the Windows NT Server Installation CD-ROM is with
you and you are logged in as an Administrator.
1.
Double click on the
My Computer icon.

Double click on the
Control Panel icon.
3.
Double click on the
Network icon.
4.
Click on the Services
tab and then click on the Add... button.
5.
The Network Service
window opens. Select Remote Access Service and click
on the OK button.
6.
The Remote Access Setup
prompt opens. Click on the Yes button to proceed.
7.
The Add RAS Device window
opens. Click on the small 'down-arrow' to select on
the correct Modem Drive in the RAS Capable Services.
8.
Click on the OK button
to continue.
9.
The Remote Access Setup
window opens and displays the device that you just
added.
10.
Highlight the device
and click on the Configure... button to proceed.
11.
Under the item Port
Usage, select Dial out only and click on the OK button.
12.
You will be brought
back to the Remote Access Setup window.
13.
Click on the Continue
button.
14.
You will then be brought
back to the Network window.
15.
Click
on the OK button to complete the installation.
16.
Windows
will then prompt you to insert your installation CD-ROM
and a PC restart. Just follow the instructions given
by the CD-ROM.
